The Inventors’ Studio

Come and join us at the Museum in the Park for another immersive, playful workshop.

Enter the crazy world of the inventors’ studio where someone has been working hard examining wings, researching flight paths, test flying prototypes and even building wings big enough for a human to wear… could humans ever fly like a bird?

Become an apprentice to the inventors; draw, make and discover all things winged. Take a close look at feathers and wing structures, make your own set of wings, and make and test fly your model bird – what country will it reach on its migration? Investigate wing mechanisms and how to make them move, then decide what you would need on your own long distance flight.

Wednesday 30/03/2016 to Friday 01/04/2016
11am – 4pm
COST: £1

Workshop for all ages.
